VBRC Membership and Private Lesson Fees

Rate applies for one adult. Includes use of club equipment and/or outdoor storage rack space for your own shell.

Rate applies for two adults in same household. Includes use of club equipment.

Rate applies for full-time students age 19 and under.

Basic "Learn to Row" rowing lessons program includes one on-land orientation, erg and safety lesson followed by four 90-minute sessions in the water on four separate days ($75/session). Virginia Beach Rowing Club membership fee waived upon completion.

*NOTE:

• Learn-to-row participants must obtain a USRowing Basic membership prior to the first lesson and be a competent swimmer.
• Training sessions must be scheduled in advance. Please contact us to arrange your lessons before purchasing this item.

Learning to row is WAY more fun with a partner. This discounted Learn to Row Beginner Package* is for two individuals together at a discounted rate of $350/each (total package $700). Each individual will get sculling experience in a single and the opportunity to try a double together at the conclusion of Training Day 5. 

Private Lessons are $90 each for a 90-minute session. One of our experienced instructors will work with you to improve your sculling stroke.

NOTE:

• This item is for individuals who have already completed the Learn to Row program or for experienced rowers seeking additional coaching/training.
• Outings must be scheduled in advance.
• Session rate includes option for coach boat gas and travel to sites other than Lake Joyce for intermediate to advanced rowers
